Mr. Mishra is an Operating Partner at 3 Boomerang Capital.  Prior to joining 3BC Mr. Mishra was a Senior Advisor and previously a Managing Director at New Mountain Capital, LLC. Prior to joining the firm in 2009, he was a Managing Director of Business Performance at CCMP Capital Advisors, LLC and J.P. Morgan Partners from 2004 until 2009. Mr. Mishra worked closely with portfolio companies to deliver on goals by helping leadership with new tools and processes to make significant improvements in business performance. During this period, he worked on several pre-acquisition due diligences and also with a large number of portfolio companies to improve their profitability. He joined the firm in 2004 from McKinsey and Company where Mr. Mishra was a Leader of the firm's work in the area of performance transformation. As part of this work, he led the transformation of a $25 billion pharmaceutical company in Europe. Prior to McKinsey, Mr. Mishra was a Consultant at A.T. Kearney where he was a Leader of the firm's operations practice. Mr. Mishra's consulting work at both firms focused on helping clients achieve operational excellence by making significant sustainable improvements across multiple areas of the supply chain, including purchasing, product development, production, sales, marketing, finance, and services. He also has extensive operating experience gained from over 10 years at GE from 1988 to 1998 in various operational leadership roles in engineering and manufacturing, six sigma, services, and product development. Mr. Mishra has several years of experience in performance transformation in companies across all major elements of the supply chain in a wide range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, business services, chemical, basic metals, and technology sectors. Mr. Mishra is recognized as a global expert in the area of performance transformation and is a frequent speaker on this topic at international business conferences in Europe and North America. He worked towards a Ph.D. (all but dissertation completed) at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and holds an M.B.A. from the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business in 1996, an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Ranchi University in India in 1977.
